Sign Pro

My current full-time role is a graphic designer at Sign Pro where I create and help develop the signage needs of our customers. My daily tasks involve interacting with customers both in person and virtually to assess what it is they are looking to order. Once a basis for the design is agreed upon I will begin the proofing process where I design the customers order to their liking. I stay in constant contact with the customer all throughout this process, sending re-proofs as needed. After design approval the production process can begin.

Being a graphic designer at Sign Pro has helped mold me into the designer I am today. Before Sign Pro my expertise in design lied in interactive design and user experience design. This position has helped me get out of my comfort zone and hone in on graphic design specifically. Rather than just designing for the digital realm I have been able to experience designing for tangible media such as physical signage, car wraps, and various media. The experience has helped shaped my current design process and has allowed me to think about designs as if I am designing from the ground up. This proves to be beneficial as I not only look at how designs can be used on the web, but how feasible will the design be when the client begins to order physical print media.
